OFFICIAL VISITS & REPORTS:

Dr. Sonam Dolma, Vice Chairman of CCTM had officially visited to Germany for a month from 12th Oct. - 13th November 2010. This tour was organized by Mr. Wilfried Peffer, Director of Kailash House, Germany. During this tour, Dr. Sonam Dolma had visited to 16 different places and consulted many people and patients. Members of CCTM would like to thank Mr. Wilfried Peffer for organizing such programme and we hope to receive the same support and cooperation.

Dr. Tashi Dawa; Exe. member of CCTM with his team has visited to the Department of Tibetan Medicine, Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh Ladadh on 26th Oct. The team has successfully inspect to the department and put up their report to the CCTM office.

Three of CCTM Executive member has officially attended the First Tibetan National General Meeting held at Bylakuppe from 26-31st August 2010. Members has actively participated in all sessions and discussed the issues and policies of Tibetan Medicine in exile. Members, on behalf of Tibetan Medical practitioner in exile has also forward the assessments on the Education, Policies and General Public health.

Dr. Tsering Thakchoe Drungtso, Chairman of CCTM was officailly called for a special meeting by the Indian Parliamentary standing committee on 26th of July 2010. The committee has also called Dr. Tsewang Tamdin; Director of Men-Tsee-Khang, Prof. Ngawang Samten; Director of CUTS, Varanasi and Ven. Choephel Soepa. The meeting was called for the inclusion of Sowa Rigpa in the legal frame of Indian Medicine Central Council Act. 1970.

Dr. Sonam Dolma, Vice Chairman of CCTM has officailly visited CST Shimla & CST Dholanji to give brief lecture on "Introduction on Tibetan Medicine" for the senior student and specific talk on Women's health for the senior girls student from 15-17th April 2010.

Dr. Lobsang Soepa, Executive Member of CCTM has officially visited Chagpori Tibetan Medical Institute, Darjeeling as an invigilator for the CTMI Forth Batch Final Exam from 29th March - 20th April 2010.
