This programme is fully funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare through Department of AYUSH, New Delhi. 2nd International Conference on Tibetan Medicine
Description:
Tibetan Medicine with a history of more than 2500 years is based on the unique
system of indigenous medicine practiced in Tibet for hundreds of years with the
integration of wisdom from various Asian medical systems. The growing popularity
of Tibetan Medicine worldwide due to its holistic approach and its multi-faceted
wisdom, the responsibility to share and propagate the true essence of Tibetan
Medicine has fallen on us to avoid any misrepresentation of our rich culture.
Conducting conference is one of the most effective approaches to share the profound
knowledge of Tibetan Medicine to doctors and the interested individuals as well as to
benefit all suffering beings. Therefore, the idea of this 2nd international conference on
Tibetan Medicine comes into birth. We had invited Tibetan medical scholars from all
around the world to explore their knowledge and practical experiences in accordance
to the title of the conference. This conference will be the 2nd international conference
on Tibetan Medicine, considering the medical conference held at samye, Tibet during
King Tresong Duetsen in the 8th century as the 1st international medical conference.

Call for Paper Presentation:
To participate as a PRESENTER, please submit your abstract via email at 2012ictm@gmail.com or through post by March 25, 2012. Your abstract for 10 minutes
paper presentation should be relevant to Tibetan Medicine. The language medium of your presentation must be in Tibetan or English and it should be one page and the full article in between 5-10 pages. All abstracts submitted will be evaluated for presentation
and publication in the Book of Abstracts which will be available at the Conference. Individual will be informed after selection and will have to send their brief bio-data for
the conference abstract book.

Under the clause 10.b of Tibetan Medical Council Act. 2003, CCTM announces here the registration for Certified Registered Practioner (CRP).
Tibetan Medical practioner who have not trained under the Tibetan Medical Institutions and is being practiced from many years are requested to get their registration by giving theory, viva and practical exams.

a. Registration of Tibetan Medical Practioner
Tibetan Medical Practioners who have not register Bye-law of Central Council of Tibetan Medicine (CCTM) are requested to kindly register themselve at the earliest.. As per the norms, late fee will be charged for those who haven't registered their name after a year of their graduation.
b. Registration of Tibetan Pharmaceutical Company/ Unit
Central Council of Tibetan Medicine has established a Rules and Regulations for the registration of Pharmaceutical Company/Unit. The registration process has already begun. Under the resolution passed during the 14th Board meeting of CCTM, all the Tibetan Pharmaceutical company/unit holder are required to register their firms by law of CCTM on or before 30th May 2011. For more information regarding the registration, please contact to our office.
